About Me:
Michael Ledgister received his master’s in Computer Science and bachelor’s in Information System Security. He currently is pursuing his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership where the focus will be in understanding education and leadership at the community college level with an emphasis on how how to make meaningful improvements.
Industry Experience: Before coming to CIAT, Ledgister has worked at various industries, such as, a System Administrator in Windows 10, RedHat Linux7, and Server. He currently works for General Dynamics in Information Technology where he implement STIG requirements and maintains STIG checklists, HBSS and ACAS compliance on all network security infrastructure devices (Windows and Linux). His involvement in Koam Engineering Systems (KES) as a System Analyst II is where he supported deployment and management of network security assets with the use of tools such as Ansible, Python, Bash, etc. Ledgister is certified in EC-Council Instructor EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+ Certification, CompTIA Linux+ certification, CompTIA Network+ Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
