Industry Experience: When Keith Wright first began to teach he received the opportunity to create a curriculum for teaching computers to all grades in an elementary school and soon after continue to teach them with the programs that he had selected. Wright learned he loved to teach! The more he did it the more he learned how to adjust the curriculum and his style of teaching to the student. As a Computer Technician maintaining two mini-computers, the serial cables for the terminals, the phone network, the printers for a medium-sized company, he learned how to debug hardware and software issues for computer users as the customer of a service he was providing. As an Independent Contractor and while being contracted out by the companies where he worked, he has created more than a dozen Access Database applications for document tracking, document, report, graph, and web page generation. Wright also performed Y2K upgrade for Visual Basic applications from Office 97 to Office 2000 and provided complete solutions including hardware, software, configuration, training, application development, database development, and support as a contractor. As a self-taught Android Developer since 2010, he published 14 Android apps with over 2 million total downloads. He learned how to work with many Google Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), and performed all the design, graphics, layout, coding, publishing, and life-cycle production of apps by himself. His experience with Internet technologies began in the early 1990’s, when he first proposed, created, managed, and maintained the company website where he worked at the time. Since then, he has managed or created numerous websites for many organizations, including managing the servers for the website, the database, DNS, email, file sharing, networking, updates, security, and troubleshooting issues.
